The horizontal suckerfish menu is in the 'user 3' module position. If you want the submenu items to be displayed when you hover your mouse over the parent menu item, you need to check a setting in the Joomla backend.

Go to Extensions > Modulemanager. Go to your horizontal suckerfish menu module ('user3' position).

Moduleparameters > Always show sub-menu items ---> Choose 'Yes'
